2016 Camp Invention Campaign
In terms of physical scale, this campaign is easily the biggest project I’ve ever worked on. When it was given to me I didn’t understand the scope of it, but I can clearly remember when I asked my boss how many camp flyers we would be printing and he said somewhere in the range of 3 to 6 million. I was a year out of college at that time; I had never experienced production to that degree, especially of something I made. I felt honored and intimidated that such a project had been given to me.
The Camp Invention campaign visuals dealt with the intersection of a child’s imagination and the materials they can find around their house. Through their creativity cardboard and duct tape become the first iterations of the world-changing inventions of the future. The visuals featured the intersection of real-life and illustrated materials, helmed by heroic children playing and learning and inventing.
